Access and inclusion

Accessibility Statement

We want Apex Tai Chi to be clear, usable and welcoming.

Draft updated 3 September 2026 · Final audit and owner review required

This statement covers the new Apex Tai Chi public website and the connected member and booking services. It will replace the unfinished template statement on the former Wix website after final testing and approval.

Digital accessibility

We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable. We have used structured headings, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus styles, text alternatives for meaningful images, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support, light and dark themes, and clear form labels and error messages.

We do not yet claim full conformance. The final release candidate still requires keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, contrast and mobile testing.

Known limitations

Some connected resources are supplied through third-party services such as Google Drive, Stripe, Netlify, ChatGPT Sites/Cloudflare and external video or meeting tools. Their accessibility is partly controlled by those providers. Older documents, recordings or imported material may not yet have complete captions, transcripts or optimised document structure.

If a resource is difficult to use, contact us and we will try to provide the information in a more suitable format.

Classes, venues and online practice

Access arrangements vary between venues and programmes. Please contact Dr Jar before attending if you would like to discuss mobility, seating, sensory, communication or other access requirements. Reasonable adaptations can be explored, although not every movement or venue will suit every individual circumstance.

Report a problem or request support

Email drjar@apextaichi.com or use the contact page. Please describe the page or resource, what you were trying to do and the format or adjustment that would help. We will respond personally and aim to provide a practical alternative.

Review

This statement will be reviewed after the final pre-launch accessibility audit and whenever the website or connected member services change materially.
